Progressive PartyThe Progressive Movement is alive and well in Santa Cruz, and the Thomas Leavitt for City Council campaign is bringing it to the electoral booth. To help make this happen, on Sunday, October 20th, from 5-7 p.m., the Thomas Leavitt for City Council campaign will be hosting a house party to raise funds and sign up volunteers at the candidate's home on 1135 N. Branciforte.Bring your checkbook and your calendar. If you are interested in playing any role in the Thomas Leavitt for City Council campaign, including helping co-ordinate the campaign (we need all the help we can get), please show up. Those interested in helping co-ordinate the campaign are invited to show up at 4:30 p.m. for the third in a series of weekly campaign steering committee meetings.
