Certainly most blogging candidates are running for local offices. This summer, Radio Free Blogistan spotted Bakersfield City, Calif., school board candidate Jesus Garcia. Thomas Leavitt, Green Party candidate for Santa Cruz City Council, has included a campaign blog as part of his Web site that includes some personal reflection on the race. And Tina Liebling, first-time candidate for state representative in Rochester, Minn., takes readers on the campaign trail with her.
