Another Great Day with the Girls

When the girls are with us, our schedule and habits are very different - we’ve spent very little time at the computer all day… spent most of the day doing stuff with them. Girls woke us up at 8 a.m. and Gunilla got out of bed right away and spent the rest of the morning with them.

We had a long outing to the park this afternoon. Lynessa is very good at tossing and catching - even an American football! She and I played catch until her arm got tired. Lynnaea is very good at kicking - very good hand-eye co-ordination (which her music teacher also mentioned). She and I played “three touch”… actually all four of us did, although Lynnaea is much better at it than any of us. :)

Chicken Curry for dinner tonight - at the girls request (their favorite). They consumed it quite throughly.

Another wonderful day, without conflict, full of fun and frolic. Despite all the issues with custody between us and their dad, the girls are wonderful, sunny creatures, well tempered, and full of love and affection for everyone and every creature around them. A total joy to be around. :) Very glad to have them in my life - never expected to get married to someone with kids, but I feel sorry for all those men and women who avoid getting into relationships with single parents - they don’t know what they’re missing. Being a parent has been one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my life.
