The Sound of Violins
A new addition to the normal cacophony of our household, was the sound of our older daughter Lynnaea practicing the violin tonight. I used to play the violin when I was in elementary school. Apparently, our friend Martin did as well (the breadth of his talents continues to amaze me).
Homework was done (most of it) promptly after school ended (with the assistance of our resident B.A. in Mechanical Engineering), then an expedition to the mall was launched, where Gunilla got glasses, our youngest daughter Lynessa received an eye exam (per the recommendation of the school) that determined she did not need glasses at this time, and dinner (Chicken Tickamasala with Nan, one of the girl’s favorites) was acquired.
Day ended with another story from Uncle Andrew, as is our usual practice. Girls go back to their father tommorrow (shared custody), although we’ll continue to see them regularly at school.
