Save the 418 Project

Dear City Council members,

I wish to express my support for the broadening of the 418 Project’s use permit from “dance studio” to multi-use facility (including the ability to host events with recorded music). The 418 Project is the spirit of Santa Cruz in action, a grassroots, community driven performance space that provides an affordable and easily accessible space for artistic performance and expression in the heart of our downtown. When the 418 Project first started, I made a specific point of donating in support of this, and each time I get their “Coming Soon” email updates, I see that my investment has once again been repaid many times over.

On Wednesday, April 16th, please vote to support grassroots, community driven performance spaces. Give the 418 Project an expanded permit for a multi-use facility.
