Lynnaea’s Concert
My older daughter, Lynnaea, played in her schools annual spring concert this evening. She played in both the Basic (beginning) and Advanced orchestras. Her music teacher loves her, thinks she’s wonderfully talented (he is a total dear, very exhuberant and passionate, I adore him). I can see that she’s getting better - was watching her wrist as she performed… her strokes are getting longer and more confident, and she’s able to stay in sync with the rest of the orchestra (some of the kids are much more experienced than she is) with ease.
My younger daughter, Lynessa, ran up to her mother (the girls are with my wife’s ex at this point) when she saw her sitting in the audience as they came in, and gave her a big kiss. Repeated that later. Very cute. Had to be torn away from talking to her mother as their father exited the school grounds.
I can’t wait for Lambda Legal to weigh in on the custody situation. Hopefully that will produce a radical improvement over the current 25/75 situation in favor of my wife’s ex.
