Instant Runoff Voting

So, an activist is someone who DOES something. I pointed out that the recall situation is a classic example of why IRV is important, and then drafted a sample letter to the editor and byline editorial to support that proposition, then turned it into a letter to an elected representative.

The people at Fair Vote California and other IRV activists really liked it. They gotten in contact with Senator Burton, Senate Majority Leader, to discuss implementing legislation, drafted legislation, and even included a pointer to my sample letters/editorials on their site:

All this in the midst of the normal whirlwind of other events. :)
