Kucinich vs. Dean, which should Greens support?

[Got this in my email box from the Kucinich campaign. Let me be clear: I like Kucinich. I have reached out and contact his campaign and offered my advice and to act as a conduit to Green folk, because if he does well, it says something about the strength of the progressive movement. That all aside, my support for him is arms length, and I’m not going to kill myself on his behalf as I did in 2000 with Nader. DK is not a Green, he’s a Democrat, and he’s tied to his party for good or bad - mostly the latter in my opinion. As a registered Green, I regard my interest as academic, and my hopes are not pinned to his performance; I honestly expect him to lose, at which point I also expect a mass influx into the Green Party. -Thomas]

A significant number of people will follow this thread. This could be an opportunity to for Greens to express the values that lead to supporting Kucinich.

In the opinion of some at Kucinich Campaign offices, that the Dean people have given us an opening on one of their best known sites.
Can we (politely) take advantage of this opportunity? If you are a Green for Kucinich, we request that you post your reasons for backing Dennis instead of Dean in the comments area.
