Common Sense … persona non-grata in California politics.

[This was from an interview in the Wall St. Journal. Tells me WB bought his house a LONG time ago. Fuck, my property taxes are three times his, on a property worth 1/8th. If they were equivalent, he’d be paying $60,000 a year. Does Warren Buffett need a tax break of that magnitude?!? Is this a sane or reasonable system?!? -Thomas]

Buffett suggested California’s property taxes might be too low. He said he pays $14,401 in annual property taxes on his $500,000 home in Omaha, Neb., but only $2,264 on his $4 million home in Laguna Beach.
