Out of the mouthes of babes…
A friend (about my age) sent me this, and said “This article is uproarious. I feel even older than I am.”
Yep. Even though the first and last console my parents bought me was one of those Sears 4 in 1 black and white Pong style consoles (you switched between games by actually flipping, you guessed it, a switch)… I spent endless hours playing it (we were a personal computer household - we had a TI99/4a, which had a cartridge slot, and so served the same purpose… except, of course, that TI abandoned it right after we bought it, and no one bothered to write games for it after a while, so I never saw any of even the licensed versions of the console games until I bought an NES in high school).
I wound up laughing out loud a number of times as I read this article… these kids have a wicked sense of humor… sarcasm seems to be their forte (which is par for the course at that age, I guess).
