I just noticed that the length of a couple of recent postings was inordinately long, I had just cut and pasted from emails, so I didn’t look too closely… I remembered that WordPress has a <!–more–> tag, and added it to each of those postings at an appropriate point, and boom. Suddenly, the page loads much quicker.
