Santa Cruz County Poll re: Green Party Presidential Strategy

[Got this in my email today. My vote, of course, was “All Out”. -Thomas]

Hello:

The California Green Party is asking each county to poll its members for
preferences of Presidential candidacy criteria. Please take a moment to
complete the following poll (below) by replying to this message with your
votes. Thank you.

For an explanation of Instant Runoff Voting (IRV), see:
http://www.fairvote.org/irv/whatis2.htm

GPCA PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE STRATEGY POLL

Under current law, neither the Green Party of California (GPCA), nor any other
political party, can either direct nor dictate what a candidate does. However,
the party is free to make known the reasons a particular candidate was
endorsed. It also can state, before the endorsement is given, what strategy the
party embraces in the hopes of finding a candidate that agrees with that
strategy.

The following poll will help the Green Party of California determine the
options California Greens are most interested in. We want to hear from you!

Please rank your choices using IRV. If you have questions about using IRV
please contact Chris Collins, Electoral ‘Reform Co-coordinator, at
chris@eorbit.net You don’t need to take an official vote at a County Council
meeting. This is an advisory straw poll ONLY. Responses are due by FEB 15.
