[Here’s the article, with pictures. The second quote really needs some context… I was speaking, in general, about the fact that these folks really truly believed in Enron, the company, as a power for good in the Universe. They believed they were on the side of God, mom and apple pie, and that Enron’s role in promoting deregulation and competition was completely positive. They were convinced that Enron was completely innocent of any of the claims made against it, as was the entire energy industry, and that everything that happened in California was purely the result of markets operating properly. -Thomas]
