Subject: RE: Your Feedback
Dear Mr. Innis,
Thank you for your feedback regarding the recent opinion piece
published on MSN. On behalf of everyone at Match.com, we apologize
to our readers who found the viewpoints expressed offensive. It was
certainly not our intention to perpetuate stereotypes or negative
attitudes, and after further review, we have decided to remove the
article.
Since its launch on the Web in 1995, Match.com has worked
tirelessly to support a diverse community of quality single people
wwho share a common goal — to find love and create successful,
meaningful relationships. To that end, we work with a wide array of
writers and relationship experts to offer single people advice and
perspectives on dating and relationships. This content is available
through our partner, MSN, as well as in our new online weekly
magazine, Happen(tm) (www.happenmagazine.com). As you suggested, in
the coming months we will feature articles from bisexual
contributors focusing on the unique dating issues facing bisexuals.
At Match.com, we believe that there is someone for everyone ? it?s
simply a matter of expanding your possibilities and being open to
finding love. We are committed to creating new romantic
opportunities for all single people ? men and women; old or young;
gay, straight or bisexual. Thank you, again, for taking the time to
share your concerns with us, and we hope you will continue to do so.
Best regards,
Kristin Kelly, Sr. Director of Public Relations
