The front of the queer literary bus
I didn’t realize how used I was to stepping to the back of the lesbian and
gay literary bus until my lesbian colleagues Mary Meriam, Nicki Hastie and Liann
Snow posted my smiling face smack-dab at the top of the new web site for
Woman-Stirred, a quartet of queer women writers. At the Woman-Stirred site, you
can find links to fine lesbian and bi poetry, fiction and literary theory as
well as an inspiring photo of a queer writer and her husband with the bi flag
waving proudly behind them in all its full-color glory at last year’s SF Pride
(though mostly all you can see of my guy Hew is a silhouette and that amazing
hair). Thanks to Nicki, Mary and Liann for making me feel seen as a bi writer
within the lesbian community.
Show your support for the Woman-Stirred’s refreshing inclusiveness by voting
with the pitter-patter of your little virtual feet and visiting

Proudly and visibly yours,
